Founded in 2017, Ubud Jungle Adventures is a licensed, locally-owned outdoor adventure outfitter headquartered in the emerald highlands of Payangan, Gianyar. We own our 2.5 km private Gorilla Cave ATV track, river rafting fleet, and modern basecamp facilities — cutting out middlemen so you enjoy genuine Balinese hospitality with 100% safety and zero markups.
Our Journey: From Village Dream to Bali’s #1 Adventure Outfitter
Ubud Jungle Adventures began with a simple philosophy: share the authentic, raw natural wonders of our ancestral home in Payangan with travelers from around the globe, while preserving Bali’s delicate rainforest ecosystem and empowering local village youth.
Tired of seeing multinational online travel agencies (OTAs) charge exorbitant commission fees while underpaying local guides, our founding team decided to carve our own path. In 2017, we developed our private 2.5-kilometer jungle circuit — complete with the hand-sculpted volcanic Gorilla Cave tunnel, bamboo canopies, and a refreshing waterfall drive-through.
Today, we have hosted over 85,000 satisfied adventurers from Australia, Europe, North America, India, and beyond. Every dollar booked directly supports 45+ local Balinese guides, kitchen staff, mechanics, and drivers from surrounding banjars (villages).

Our tracks are engineered in direct cooperation with local village farmers (Pekaseh) to ensure zero runoff into sacred UNESCO Subak rice field water channels.

We provide filtered mineral water stations and reusable drinking containers. We organize monthly river cleanups along the Ayung River gorge with local school youth.
Fair Village Employment
